Who we are

Digi Doughnut is a tiny shop run by Oran & Laura that makes digital productivity tools: web apps and Google Sheets templates, sold through Etsy. This policy covers all Digi Doughnut apps and this website.

Google Sheets templates

Our spreadsheets don't collect, store or send us any personal data. Everything you enter — names, expenses, payments, group details — stays in your own Google Drive and is governed by Google's own privacy policies. We have no access to it.

The templates use Google Apps Script. When you authorize a template, you grant those permissions to Google, not to us, and the script works only inside that one spreadsheet. It doesn't read your email or your other files.

Web apps

Our web apps keep what you enter on your own device. Some offer an optional sync that keeps a backup in a cloud account you set up and control. AI features (DigiBot) send your requests to Google using your own Google AI key; we never see your key or your requests.

This website

• Glaze, the shop helper: what you type, plus your My apps list and any "About you" notes, is sent to our server and to Google's Gemini API to write an answer. We don't store your conversation.
• To stop abuse, we keep a count of recent questions per visitor as a salted hash of your IP address — never the IP itself — and clear it after about two days.
• Your My apps list and "About you" notes are kept in your browser only.
• Access codes: when an app uses them, we log the code, the app, when it was issued and used, and a salted hash of the IP address. Never your name, email or the IP itself.
• We use cookies only to remember your access code on thank-you and app pages. No advertising or tracking cookies, and no analytics.
• Fonts load from Google Fonts, so Google receives your browser's request for them.

Purchases

Etsy collects and manages everything about your purchase, such as your name, email and payment details. Please see Etsy's privacy policy for how that's handled. We don't store or have independent access to your payment information.

Communications

We only contact customers through Etsy messages in reply to purchase questions. We won't contact you for marketing without your consent, and we never sell, rent or share your contact information. You can update your preferences with us through Etsy at any time.

Sharing

We don't sell, trade, rent or otherwise share customer data with third parties.

Children

Our apps aren't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their personal information. If you think a child has given us personal information, contact us through Etsy and we'll deal with it.

Changes

We may update this policy as our apps or the law change. The date at the top changes when we do. Using our apps after a change means you accept the updated policy.
