How does setup work?

Make a copy of the Google Sheet to your own Google Drive, open it, and authorize the built-in script when prompted (one-time — it keeps everything private to your own sheet). Then add subscriptions from the sidebar and watch the dashboard update.

Does it work in Excel or the Sheets mobile app?

No — the template relies on Google Apps Script, so it only works in Google Sheets. The automation also doesn't run inside the Sheets mobile app (your sheets are still viewable there); use a desktop browser for the full experience.
